Essendon star Kyle Langford and his partner Lulu Scott-Young have a lot to celebrate, with the couple announcing their engagement and that they are expecting their first child.
The glamorous couple took to social media on Tuesday to share their exciting news, much to the delight of fans and friends alike, alongside a series of stunning photos taken at Noosa Heads in Queensland.
In the picturesque images, Langford can be seen down on one knee by the ocean, proposing to Scott-Young, who beams with happiness.
Another set of photos shows Scott-Young cradling her baby bump, radiating joy as the couple embark on this new chapter together.
The couple wrote beside the images: 'Mum & Dad are getting Married. Baby Langford coming November 2024 & a lifetime with you.'
The couple's joyous news was met with an outpouring of congratulations from many of Langford's current and former teammates.
Sam Durham expressed his excitement with a simple 'Unreal,' while Ben Hobbs, Archie Perkins, Nik Cox, and Alwyn Davey were among the Bombers who sent their well-wishes.
The announcement comes as no surprise to those who have followed the couple's journey.
They first rose to prominence last year when Scott-Young, a real estate professional, turned heads and made several best-dressed lists at the Brownlow Medal event.
Langford has also been making headlines on the field.
The talented goalkicker has had a stellar season, playing all 13 games and scoring 28 goals.
He is now just seven games away from reaching a significant milestone of 150 matches.
