‘TIKTOCLOCK’ OVERTAKES ‘EAT…BULAGA’ ANEW

The Kapuso pre-noontime program ‘Tiktoclock’ has achieved a remarkable milestone by once again surpassing the long-standing noontime show ‘EAT…Bulaga’ in the ratings race.

According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey ratings, ‘Tiktoclock’ has managed to outshine ‘EAT…Bulaga,’ securing a higher position in the overall ratings chart.

On Friday, April 26th, ‘Tiktoclock’ recorded a rating of 4.0 percent, claiming the 14th spot in the overall ratings board. The Kapuso pre-noontime show’s rating was 0.2 percent higher than ‘EAT…Bulaga,’ which garnered a rating of 3.8 percent, placing it at the 15th spot in the ratings board.

This marks the second time that ‘Tiktoclock’ has surpassed ‘EB’ in the ratings chart. On April 17th, ‘Tiktoclock’ also outperformed ‘EAT…Bulaga,’ registering a rating of 4.0 percent compared to the latter’s 3.9 percent.

The improved ratings performance of ‘Tiktoclock’ was further boosted by the simulcast airing of ‘It’s Showtime’ on GMA Network’s noontime slot. Since its debut on the Kapuso network, ‘Tiktoclock’ has seen a surge in its rating numbers, which had previously declined when ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ occupied the Kapuso noontime slot.

Prior to its recent victory against ‘EAT…Bulaga,’ ‘Tiktoclock’ had closely trailed the TVJ-hosted program in ratings.

On Monday, April 22nd, ‘Tiktoclock’ scored a rating of 3.6 percent, 0.9 percent lower than ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 4.5 percent. However, the following day, Tuesday, April 23rd, ‘Tiktoclock’ improved to 3.8 percent, narrowing the gap with ‘EB’ to 0.4 percent after achieving a rating of 4.2 percent.

On Wednesday, April 23rd, ‘Tiktoclock’ further improved to 3.9 percent, reducing its ratings margin against ‘EAT…Bulaga’ to 0.3 percent, as the latter maintained its 4.2 percent rating.

Finally, on Thursday, April 24th, ‘Tiktoclock’ attained a rating of 3.5 percent, trailing ‘EB’ by 0.8 percent, as ‘EAT…Bulaga’ secured a rating of 4.3 percent.
