ROCHELLE PANGILINAN REACTS TO HILARIOUSLY AGGRESSIVE PRAISE FOR 'PULANG ARAW' PERFORMANCE: 'KALMA!'

Rochelle Pangilinan has been receiving a lot of praise for her performance in "Pulang Araw" — including explosive ones.

On Instagram, the actress and dancer posted a screenshot of a DM she received from a supporter, who got a bit aggressive in praising Rochelle for her role.

The message read: “Hi Rochelle. Gusto ko lang murahin ka sa napakagaling mong pag ganap sa Pulang Araw. T-ng inaaaaaa! Iba ka!”

The fan added clapping and facepalm emojis.

Rochelle wrote in her Instagram caption, “KALMAAA! Pero maraming salamat. Kasing intense ng iyong papuri ang eksena.”

“Inappropriate ‘yung words pero naiintindihan ko kasi sabi nga ng iba ang hirap hanapin ng salita para idescribe ang hirap at pasakit na dinanas ng ating mga kababayan nung panahon ng Hapon!” she added.

The actress then invited viewers to continue watching “Pulang Araw.”

“Marami pang mas mabibigat na eksena na talaga namang mapapamura kayo!” she said.

The Kapuso actress and Sexbomb Girl plays Amalia Dimalanta-Torres, the aunt of Adelina (Barbie Forteza) and Eduardo (Alden Richards), who becomes their primary guardian following the death of their mother.

Recent episodes of “Pulang Araw” follow Amalia getting taken by Japanese soldiers with the intent to sexually abuse her.

The Sparkle star said in a previous interview that she takes two days to break away from her character.

“Pulang Araw” made a strong debut on Netflix last July, and was a trending topic on X. It also airs on GMA Prime.
